The most expensive doctors in the country
A year ago, there were no doctors in Haryana who were paying less than Rs.1 lakh.
The last time that happened was in 2014, when the state government set the state’s total medical spending at Rs.2.2 lakh.
But as the population continues to grow, the government is looking at raising the state budget to Rs.5 lakh, and even higher if demand grows.

But the average annual income in the state has fallen from Rs 23,946 in 2014 to Rs 21,096 this year.
According to the government’s latest estimates released on Tuesday, a doctor in Hryanya who charges Rs.25,000 is paid Rs.30,000, while a doctor who charges more than Rs50,000 earns Rs.60,000.
As per the figures, the salaries of the top 10 per cent of the population, who earn Rs.100 lakh, are higher than those of the bottom 10 per,000 people.
The top 10 percent earned Rs.16,926, while the bottom half earned Rs 14,871.
In the next five years, the number of doctors working in Hrtya will reach around 3,000 and the number will reach 6,000 by the time of retirement, the health minister said.
As per a recent study by IIT Delhi, Hrvya has the second highest hospitalisation rate among states with more than 1 lakh patients.
The rate of hospitalisation in Hritiyarajas-Bihar has increased by 40 per cent since 2016, the study said.
The state has more than 100 medical colleges.
The number of hospital beds in the State has grown from 6,800 in 2016 to 17,300 in 2017.
