Internal medicine patients in hospital after getting shot in NC

A nurse at a hospital in North Carolina says a number of patients were in critical condition after receiving shots at the hospital.
The Charlotte Observer reports a nurse at North Carolina Hospital told local station WTVD that patients were getting shot outside the ER while she was working late.
She said one patient was having difficulty breathing.
“They were asking about their family and trying to call their parents.
I was like, ‘They’re going to die right now,'” the nurse said.”
There was a little girl in the hallway, she was breathing, but she didn’t have oxygen coming through.
She was very, very, concerned and very, very, very upset.”
A spokesperson for North Carolina Health says it’s “aware of reports of an incident involving patients at the North Carolina Medical Center.”
They are currently investigating, they say.
