How to spot the ‘tigers’ in a player
With a number of big-name players now sidelined, the Milan defender may have become a scapegoat for the team’s woes.
But in this exclusive interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian magazine, the 34-year-old reveals how he has been the ‘lone wolf’ of the team, and the reason why he is a key player in the team.
It is difficult to pinpoint a single player who has done more to help the team this season, but I think I am the only one who has been more important than anyone else.
When the team was in the midst of the transition from the previous regime, we had a very strong squad.
This was an unprecedented situation.
For me, Milan’s transition to the new era was a good thing, as it meant that everyone could concentrate on one task at a time.
There were three key points: 1) The first one was the signing of Gonzalo Higuain, who was the team captain and who I thought would become a player with great future.
2) In the winter transfer window, Milan bought Arrigo Sacchi from Udinese, who has played well for the club.
And 3) I had the chance to see Udinese in action at the Under-21 World Cup, and I felt they could have done much better.
In the summer transfer window I bought Kaka, but he was injured and the team lacked a big-game leader.
I thought the same about Sacchi.
He was also an exceptional player, but the team had to adapt to his departure.
We didn’t have a clear choice.
There was a huge uncertainty in the squad, which led to a lot of discussion.
After all, I have been the one who told the Milan faithful that I didn’t think Higuías move to Udinese would be good for the squad.
But after speaking to Higuís manager, I felt that the team would have been better if we had played in the Champions League, as we had been in the past.
It was the first time I had a player who would give us that much help.
And I believe that this move was the right one for us.
Milan have not won a Serie A title since 2004 and have not qualified for the Champions’ League since 2011.
They have not had a Champions League spot since 2013, and they have not been in Serie A for more than two seasons.
It has been a disappointing start, but it has been an even worse one for the fans.
With the support of the fans, the club has shown a lot more ambition, which has been great for me.
They showed a lot in the first half of the season, when they were winning, but they could not match the pace of the champions.
The only time we could have won was at the end of the second half when we won 2-0.
It is a great shame for the supporters that we haven’t been able to score as many goals as we could, but we have shown great resolve and desire to improve.
The coach and the players have always been my greatest friends.
The coach has been with me through every phase of my career, and he has always given me the confidence to keep going.
It would be wrong to say that he has a difficult job, as I have had a lot support from him.
In fact, I know what I am doing and what I need to do.
He has always said that we will achieve more in this season than in any other, and if we keep doing what we are doing, it will happen.
There is nothing to fear in this.
I have always loved the players, and this season I have worked even harder to be the best I can be, even if I still have to work harder for the future.
I always believe that the future will show us all what we can achieve together.
The truth is that the coach has given me everything and has been there for me in every moment of my life.
I don’t think that he is alone in this respect, but if he is, then I have to thank him.
I’m very grateful to the coach, the fans and the other players.
There are many players who deserve more credit than I am.
I am always grateful to them, and to my teammates who have helped me to this point.
I believe in myself and I believe we can do it.
I would like to thank Udinese for the great atmosphere they created.
In general, the team is very professional.
In some cases, we have had moments when we are not doing well.
For example, when we lost 3-0 in the last game, the atmosphere was unbelievable.
When we won 4-1 in the second leg against Juventus, it was very emotional, because it was such a fantastic performance.
It showed that we have taken responsibility and we know what we need to work on.
When I was injured in the match against Sampdoria, we lost our
